Information processed

We process account name, email address, compulsory phone number, legal acceptance, memorial content, visitor submissions, moderation decisions, technical security logs, MCP access logs and payment references needed to operate and protect the service.

Public and private information

Public memorial content may be visible and shareable on the internet. Account contact details, payment references and unpublished content are restricted to authorised operational use, except where disclosure is legally required.

Phone number

A phone number is required for account accountability, support, payment reconciliation and security. It is not displayed publicly on memorial pages unless the user separately places it in public content.

Payments

Full card, bank or mobile-wallet credentials are handled by the selected provider and are not stored by this application. We retain the internal reference, provider reference, amount, currency, status, risk indicators and reconciliation records.

Drafting assistance

The built-in obituary drafting mode operates locally within this application using the facts entered by the user. The default implementation does not send private memorial facts to an external generative-AI provider.

Media and external links

Uploaded media is stored in the configured application storage. External AWS/S3, Google Drive, video or music links are requested from those providers when a visitor opens or views embedded content, and those providers may process technical information under their own policies.

Retention and security

Records are retained only as needed for service delivery, legal obligations, fraud prevention, disputes, backups and security. Access controls, encrypted gateway credentials, audit logs and validation safeguards reduce risk, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
